The Museums period rooms include a
1930s kitchen modeled after Merle Normans, the
businesswoman who began her cosmetics career in
her Santa Monica home kitchen. The Museum's pantry
and kitchen also host changing pottery and kitchenware
exhibits and have included the brightly glazed production
ware of California companies including Bauer, Catalina,
Vernon, Pacific and Sascha Brastoff.
